CITO2
Stoneridge Electronics are pleased to announce the recent release of the CITO2 software. This software is intended to replace the existing CITO software. Our sales representatives are currently contacting our Workshop network base and assisting with the upgrade process. If you have any queries about this update or have not yet heard from your Regional Sales Manager, please contact Workshop Technical Support on 01382 866 700 and we will arrange for a demonstration.
CITO2 Known Issues
When using the “Save and Email” option to email a copy of the calibration certificate to a customer you are asked to save a copy of the certificate. It is important that you add “.pdf” to the end of the filename. If this is not added you may receive an error and the email may not send.

New Optimo Features
Wireless Icons - Optimo Connection Indicator
When the Optimo is connected to a Wireless Rolling Road and/or a tachograph, a new indicator on the Optimo tells the user which method of communication they are using.
System Tray Icons
When the Optimo is turned on two new icons will be displayed in the system tray.
One icon shows the Rolling Road connection status and the second shows the Tachograph connection status. The icons will be green when a wireless connection is in place and red when there is no wireless connection.
NOTE: - This will not be able to detect when a cable is connected only that the wireless is not connected.
Rolling Road wireless brake/bar control
Customers who have a Stoneridge 9500 series Rolling Road with wall mounted Wireless Console installed will now be able to control the Rolling Road brake using the Optimo.
The “Rolling Road Brake” desktop icon will only be enabled when a compatible rolling road is selected in “Workshop Settings” on the Optimo.
Sensor Information test
It is now possible to check sensor information including the serial number of the sensor using the Optimo (v3.1 and above). This new feature is available using the “Sensor Test” desktop icon. In order to connect the Optimo to the sensor a Sensor Information cable (PN: 7000-238) is required.
Designated Manager Training
Further to the DVSA Approved Tachograph Centre Special Notice (3-2015) Stoneridge have launched a Designated Managers training course.
The Designated Manager is the named point of contact for the DVSA and is designated by the approval holder to be responsible for the operation of the Tachograph centre.
Stoneridge will provide a training course at your premises, taking no longer than 1 to 2 hours, helping minimise disruption to your working day.
The course consists of a practical walkthrough by your Stoneridge Regional Sales Manager of all elements of compliance in line with DVSA standards.
